The Site is directed at European Union residents only and the services described in the Site are only available to European Union residents to the extent that Euler Hermes UK is licensed to sell insurance within the European Union. You agree to use the Site in a manner consistent with any and all applicable law and regulation in the country in which you access the Site.

Scope of your responsibility
You are wholly responsible for the use of the Site by any person using your terminal or point of presence and are responsible for ensuring that any such person also fully complies with these terms and conditions.

Your breach
If you are in breach of these terms and conditions you agree to indemnify Euler Hermes UK in respect of any and all losses, costs or damages including reasonable legal fees incurred by Euler Hermes UK in relation to or arising out of such breach

Data protection
The Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act) Words shown in italic have the meaning given by The Data Protection Act 1998. Euler Hermes UK is registered under the Act to process personal data (data). Where Euler Hermes UK is provided with data, the data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Act for the purpose of carrying out credit insurance and associated activities, and the data will be held securely and kept confidential at all times.

Euler Hermes UK may need to share the data with companies in the Euler Hermes UK Hermes group or other responsible third parties, within or outside the European Economic Area, where necessary.

The data may be used for direct marketing purposes. Unless you object in writing, Euler Hermes UK will use the data to contact you by post, telephone, fax, e-mail or other communication means with details of Euler Hermes group products and services. To the extent that you are not the individual whose data are being processed, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of that individual to permit Euler Hermes UK to process the data as above.

Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions contain the entire understanding between you and Euler Hermes UK with regard to your use of the Site and no representation, statement or inducement, whether oral or written, not contained herein shall bind either you or Euler Hermes UK. Euler Hermes UK reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time. Use of the Site is subject to the terms and conditions posted on the Site at the time of your visit. No Insurance Contract
Please note that Euler Hermes UK does not sell insurance over the Internet. Any contract of insurance between you and Euler Hermes UK will be governed by separate terms and conditions agreed between you and Euler Hermes UK.

Severability
Should any part of these terms and conditions for any reason be declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such determination shall not affect the validity of any remaining portion and such remaining portion shall remain in full force and effect as if the invalid portion of these terms and conditions had been eliminated.

Governing Law
These terms and conditions and your use of the Site are governed by English law. Disputes arising out of these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
